The Recreation & Aquatic Center located at the corner of Parish & Picard Road in Sulphur, LA  opened in May of 2005.  The Center includes approximately two acres under roof containing a Climate Controlled Recreation Center and a Multi-Use Aquatic Center.  The Rec-Center contains an elevated walking track, two Racquetball Courts, two Full size Gymnasiums, Cardio/Aerobic Exercise areas, multifunction Activity rooms, Locker & Changing areas, Concession and Sitting Areas.  The Aquatic Center contains two Indoor Pools and one outside Pool and Play area.  The Indoor pools include a 50-meter competition pool with scoring and spectator seating areas along with a zero entrance Leisure Pool that will also accommodate Aerobics & Exercise Programs.
